Goalify is an app that sits in between these extremes offering customization and flexibility but in a simple, user friendly interface. It would allow usersto organize their day plan tasks, and set reminders, but without the complexity of an advanced project management tool. The idea is to designan app that’s intuitive and quick to set up, with just the right amount offeatures to support daily life yet still offers room for personalization.
Goalify started from a frustration most students and busy people know well: you open a productivity app to plan your day and end up spending the day setting up the app. The tools that promise to organize your life have become their own source of overwhelm too many features, too much customization, too steep a learning curve before you've done a single useful thing.
The logo is a checkbox. That was the whole design decision, start with the most honest symbol of what this app actually does, and build everything around that simplicity. Clean type, no decoration, nothing that needs explaining. Goalify is for people who just want to get things done and move on.
GOAL
Design an app that gets out of your way. Intuitive enough to open and use immediately, flexible enough to actually fit your life, but never so complex that the tool becomes the task.
